Tamara Shari Benefield, Esq.

Tamara Benefield is a Beverly Hills family law trial attorney and the founder of Benefield Faulk Law – Family Law Trial Advocates P.C. Since opening her practice in 2004 she has concentrated on high-asset divorce and contested custody, along with child and spousal support and the international and interstate abduction cases that most family lawyers never see.

She is known in Los Angeles courtrooms as a cross-examiner. She knows the rules of evidence well enough to have taught them: before building her own practice she was a professor at West Los Angeles College of Law, where she taught Civil Procedure to students preparing for the California Bar. That training shows in how she tries cases, with objections ready and the other side's exhibits kept out when they should be.

A graduate of Loyola Law School as a Public Interest Scholar, Tamara is licensed in California state and federal courts, fluent in Spanish, and a licensed California real estate broker, which comes in handy when the biggest asset in a divorce is the house. She launched the On One™ talk show to bring what she has learned in twenty years of practice to people who can't afford to learn it the hard way.
